About

Hi! My name is Linda Treadway and I am a current full-time University of Central Oklahoma student studying Creative Writing. My goals are to become the best author I can be. I love Speculative Fiction, Fantasy, and Romance.

An avid reader for decades, I read both Christian and Secular romances. My favorite authors include Sherrilyn Kenyon, Lindsay Sands, C.L. Wilson, Christina Dodd, Terri Blackstock, Dee Henderson, Susan May Warren, Lori Wick, and so many more that it would take a book to list them all. Despite this I am always looking for new authors to enjoy.

My writing experience is limited to college essays and short stories, junior high/high school newspaper articles, and technical writing while a computer programmer for 17+ years

Fiction writing is a new area for me and I have to say, after only two semesters I am having the best time learning about this artistic world of words.

Some of my interests are photography, art/painting/drawing, crafts, computers, internet, graphic design, quilting, knitting, crochet, sewing, and of course writing.

I started this blog for one of my classes this semester (Spring 2012), but I have wanted to create a place where I can share my writing journey. Check out the previous blog I did for my last class English Literature after 1800.

I look forward to sharing my experiences but also connecting with other writers and learning from them through this blog. I hope you will read my blog and share your comments often.
